One of my tailight bulbs went out so I replaced it with a 2057 which I think is the right bulb? The running light works fine but the brake light does not come on, or is so faint I cant see it. Also the turn signal flash of the bulb is not insequence with the bulb next to it. What do I need to do to fix this, a different bulb?

 

Mine was doing something like that. Replaced the bulb a few times, still did it. Finally someone told me it was the socket(they go bad after a while). So I bought a new socket from autozone, spliced it in there, and works perfectly.

 

hmmm... I wonder what about the socket causes it to do that?
