What would cause your tach to jump during acceleration? In 2nd gear mostly not sure about others it will jump from 4500 to 5500. Next issue when going down steep hill motor will hold car back, but sometimes insead of backpressure which i'm used to it will start to roll more friendly.

Sounds like your clutch is slipping.
