Is a TA rear end cover and stud kit worth it?

Does it really help? I guess I dont understand what it does differently other than looking nicer than the stock cover. Also, just what exactly does the stud kit do? Is it something that I can install easy enough myself? Im sick of bad 60ft. times so this year I'll now have bmr boxed lcas, relocation brackets, air bag...and since I intend to be dropping the clutch on DRs, im now a bit worried about the rear end thats stock with over 90K miles on it.

Got to thunderracing.com There is a description for it. Plus it has a drain pug for the coolant, so you dont have to take the cover off to change gear oil. It is well worth it. Strengthens the rear end, and especially for hard hook up launches, you will need it unless you want to be putting rear ends in there alot. Consider it cheap insurance. I am gonna get one when I get the money.

I have a had a TA girdle on my Z for around 4 years and I believe it has helped my stock rear survive.
I put 3.73s in when the girdle went on and it has been fine so far.
My car is an automatic though and they are alot easier on the rear ends.

I think it would help. There's actually a gp just getting started in the gp section. We need six orders and we'll get a free stud kit. Also, if you're doing a gear swap at the same time, I've been told to invest in a ratech solid pinion spacer instead of the cush sleeve.

Haven't broke mine yet!
I also don't run any DR or slicks.

Didn't help me out at all. Broke the ring and pinon 4 times with and 4 time without. The 9" I have right now is one of the best investments I've made.
