T65 clutch questions

I am going to be putting a t56 in my 85 Trans Am(hopefully next weekend). When I got it it had a centerforce dual friction clutch on it. It still looks to have decent life in it, but I have read that some people have been rather unhappy with it. I really dont have a lot of extra money right now so I would like to be able to just put this in as is but dont want to have a lot of problems. I wouldnt be rushing to do this but my torque converter in my auto just died so I cant even drive the car. I already had to order a $350 flywheel from centerforce so that I can even get the thing to work with my older motor. I know that Thunder racing sells a mcleod clutch disk seperate and had considered going with it but keeping the pressure plate I have since it is only something like 133, but even that is going to set me back some time on getting the car back on the road. Does anyone have any suggestions? I need to get the car going and really dont have a lot of money so should I just hope for the best and put it together how it was on the car I got it from or should I get that replacement clutch disk or what. I cant really afford much more than that. I would love to get the street twin, but damn its expensive.

Is the shifter hard to shift. I have been doing some searching and some people said that it is harder to shift into gear with the centerforce dual friction.
