i was having some shifting problems with the 94 M6, it even got stuck between 2nd and 4th one day. don't know what kinda generic ATF they put in when it was changed 2 years ago

so i threw in 4 qts Redline D4 ATF six months ago and its perfect now. noticeably smoother shifting

I use it, definately noticeable difference from stock fluid. Quite a few others also have used it with good results, most like it better than Mobil 1.

I put dino juice in trannies and especially rear ends with "clutch" type posi's. These things depend upon a certain amount of friction to operate properly and they were not designed with synthetic in mind. It's too slippery, IMHO.

If rskrause says to use dino oil, then I'm putting dino oil in it.
Thanks!

Dino juice = regular oil, non synthetic.

Dang Rich, guess you are the drivetrain masta.. . .....I was just gonna ask that. I just got my tranny rebuilt and the shop guy told me not to use synthetic oil. He says they only put Penzoil tranny fluid and recommend nothing else. That was fine by me since I was holding Amsoil in my hand ready to go. I was surprised.
