I was doing an oil chnge the other day, and I was inspecting everything under the car when i found that there was a little play when I twisted the driveshaft with my hand. I could hear the tranny clunk a little. I was wondering if this is normal, or if I might me having tranny problems in the near future, as of now I only notice a vibration when i let off the gas at about 100 mph, but other then that nothing. Any advice would be apprecated.

 

Sounds normal.

 

The little play in the drive shaft is normal, as x7x7 said above. that little play can sometimes be the culprit of a little knock on heavy acceleration. Nothing to worry about.

 

The vibration i get has a low pitched rumbeling noise that goes with it. would this be because of an unblalanced driveshaft, an internal problem in the tranny. also my clutch is on its way out and i am putting in a new one this weekend so mabe that will fix it.
