Angry The T15 bolt that holds/aims the foglight is STUCK!!!

I've had to replace my foglights so much that one of those T15 bolts are filed down to a circle and now it's impossible to catch on to it and turn it.

How the hell do I get it out?

And another thing: Those are $5.35 each at the dealership. Could I get these somewhere else at maybe HD or Lowe's or something?

You can probably get another at Lowes. After you get it out, take it in with you and they have a little thread sizing board that tells you what size and all you need, then just find one that matches the length and has a Torx head...

As for getting it out - you should be able to find a Phillips screwdriver that fits in there good enough to bite just enough to get it out...It isn't a "highly" toqued screw, so...

If not, then I guess your next option would be to go up to a T20 and try to beat it in with a hammer, then turn it out.

Next suggestion - put some aftermarket fog lights in there. I got tired of changing my bulbs every two weeks, so I did. There's a guide in my sig.

Thumbs up

Thanks a lot! I think I will go ahead and do that conversion in the near future after I get the bolt out.
