Wait until summer comes around and then you realize t-tops are to much of a pain to take off/put on. I thought they were cool until i realized the pain they are to take off and put in the back and then when you stop to go inside somewhere you have to get the t-tops out and put them back on.

Takes all of 10 seconds. Want to have a race?

It's a simple proceedure.. Pop the hatch... Start the car, get the blood flowing, grab drivers side, go to back, drop it in hatch, walk to passenger side, grab top and throw it in back. Hop in the seat, and the idle is just barely picking up. Simple. No time wasted.

I took them off every day after work. Every time I went somewhere. Congrats on the conversion.

they aren't worth the trouble i wish my car didn't have t-tops but it was the only car in my area for sale at the time and i needed one fast. All t-tops do is leak and weaken the car. I hate mine.

Nice job! I don't know why all the lazy people are complaining about t tops. They should have bought hondas with sunroofs. T tops were on my "required" list when I was looking for a firebird. Enjoy!

Same here... Man, I really lucked out when I found my car, -it had everything I was looking for. t-tops, leather, ect etc.

Too bad I couldn't afford to keep it.

Oh yeah, never a leak from mine either. Car was solid.

A factory sunroof would be cooler than T-tops and less hassle. Everyone i know that has t-tops thinks of them as more of a pain in the butt than anything. The non t-top cars look better too in my opinion, much smoother. Also when our cars get older we can all enjoy the massive leaks too. I know a local kid that has water streams coming in through his T-tops on his 92. By the way you did a nice job on the conversion.

Z95m6, thi isnt a thread about how much you hate your t-tops. Truthfully, i have driven around with mine off for a few days when its gotten a lil warmer and i dont know what your talking about T-tops RULE You need to go buy some SFC's and then sell the car to someone who will enjoy it. I can see you in a nice honda crx.
He shawn where are you located exactly? if you can find all the nessesary parts, PM me back and maybe we can work something out

The car is 12 years old. Tell him to put some new rubber on it. What's the deal?

What do you expect after 12 years? Especially if they've been used with any frequency..

I wish i had t-tops too, although the leaks might be a problem. A kid i know from school had to borrow sarran wrap from the lunch room one day when it was raining to wrap his car up so it didnt flood

well the 4th gens are 93+ so that 92 is pretty close to us in age. I like seeing the old 3rd gens with leaking t-tops that have been siliconed on.
