hey guys i was wondering what kinda gains i will get from a ported lt4 intake and a 58 mm throtle body

You won't gain anything at all until you have the heads. As you need the LT4 heads to be able to put a LT4 intake on it. (I realize you can do some machining to make it work but that cancels out the gains of the LT4 intake, so i'll just say it won't work on LT1 heads). The stock LT1 intake on these cars support up to 400rwhp easily. Do heads, and cam before you worry about the intake and TB.

 

If you want to really make more power, scrap any LT4 ideas and save the money for something like a Lloyd Elliot heads/cam package. Seems like damn good prices.....something like $1100 for a stage 1 setup that'll net you a claimed 360-390 rwhp....
