You know the 6-way adjustable headrestes that you pull forward but don't ever fully lock?
Well,
I've got mine all taken apart to see how it works. Still stumped on how to fix the locking mechanism. I'm going to keep working on it, but I'm starting to think it was a design flaw. Anyone else know a fix?

 

both T/A's I've had do that...I think its designed like that. I also think the designer needs to be beaten

 

It's been known right after they were introduced that they weren't designed right. I wonder if Lear was the manufacturer. They do a lot of interior systems. They must have given it to the new grad mechanical engineer.
