T-56 Hurst shifter option in LT1 cars?

Could you order the hurst shifter option like you could for LS1 cars? I am trying to help someone identify the shifter they have on a removed T-56 but can't determine what it is. I thought mine was a factory piece but it looks like it may be a hurst from what others say. My roomate has the hurst option in his 02 SS but seems to be a bit differnt than mine. Pics can be seen on this thread towards the bottom.

Hard to tell anything from that photo. The part you need to see for identification is below that rubber boot. The shift handle in the picture is stock.

Ok thats what I thought. I didn't know if there was a RPO for one. I have heard it was BBS but could not find any RPO decoders that reconised it.

My 97 TransAm WS6 has a factory Hurst shifter. I believe they are a little shorter then the stock shifter.

That would be the stock shifter that came with the z/28's from 93-97. I believe only the 96-97 SS's, and WS6's came with the SLP/HURST shifter.
