I got a B&M short throw for my car a few months ago and it was very smooth shifting. Lately though if I am accelerating and I shift to 2nd accelerate more and then depress the clutch (with it still in 2nd) it makes a horroble noise.

When I installed it you could put different washers in so that you could adjust the position of the entire shifter slightly, and I chose to give it a reward bias. Could this have anything to do with it, or is it out of adjustment? It feels like I'm tearing up my tranny every time I am in 2nd.

Before I installed my shifter, I knew 2nd gear's syncronizers were worn a little, is my shifter making it worse? Please help.
