Synthetic Oil

Is it good or worth it to cjange to synthetic oil at about 60,000

I use synthetic oil (Mobil 1 10W-30) regardless of the mileage. So my answer would be yes to your question.

Definately worth it, even though it is more expensive. A good idea at any mileage.

i heard that it's not good to switch to synthetic? i got 70,000 on my car useing regular oil. would it hurt to switch to synthetic??

If it does, a lot of us are in deep trouble because nobody's car came with synthetic oil from the factory.

I have used 5w30 mobil since I bought my 94Z. I just took it apart for a cam change and the lifter valley is a nice clean bronze color. I have seen many that used conventional oil and their valleys have a thin oil tar-like layer in thier. Just from this I would think that synthetic is the only way to go. May not matter, but cleaner is better I think.
