ive heard or read i donno my source but ive heard that synthetic oils are more likely to leak due to its being able to flow better

that is true, its also finer...

i had some dinojuice in mine, and put valvoline synth with some high mileage compresion gainer thingy (knew it wouldnt do anything, but worth a try :P) and i didnt feel squat of a diff... but u wont fell a diff anyways...

on my v6, if i had natural, and i changed to synth, i can actually feel the car pull harder, and i always gained .1 and half mph from it...

weird eh

i also put KN oil filter this tiem, and i dont think that did anything either...

I just switched over to Valoline Max Life, it is supposed to be semi-Synthetic. As soon as i did fill, the car did start running a little quiter, from the valvetrain persepctive.

FWIW, I've seen my best oil analysis results using German made Castrol Syntec 0w30 along with an oversized K&N HP3002 oil filter. I've never seen an LT1 put up as low wear numbers in oil analysis as I got with this combo (if anyone here has oil analysis results from their car, let me know as I'd love to see more LT1 reports!)

This German made Syntec 0w30 is the only Syntec viscosity that is a true synthetic. The rest use a group 3 petroleum base oil.
