symptoms of a wet optispark?

i just put an electric waterpump in and now the car hardly runs at all... it wont idle and its backfiring like none-other. i have no clue as to why this would be happening except that maybe this is a symptom of a wet optispark... if anybody has any input on this situation it would be appreciated

leave it off and plug the hole with an upside-down shampoo bottle cut just below the lip of the donkey dick holder...wrap a zip-tie around it to keep it there and you're good to go

That'll do it, basically you let unmetered air into the engine which can cause some nasty driveability issues.
