swapping out cam - anything else i need?

okay rebuilding front end of my car once again and deciding since im gonna have her apart id powdercoat most of the engine parts...

well that has now lead to "if i have the parts off may as well upgrade cam"...sooo.... im trying to do this build on a tight budget. the cam im using is a CC XE 230/236 112LSA cam - as far as valvetrain....

i was thinking:
Comp Cams 26918 springs
Comp Cams 787-16 retainers
Comp Cams 601-16 locks
Comp Cams 1305-16 Rockers
Comp Cams 4501-16 Studs
Comp Cams 720H-16 Pushrods

That sound about right guys? or is there another route i should look into-

mods to car are : SLP shorty headers, offroad y-pipe, SLP loudmouth, K&N FIPK, Trickflow Ceramic elbow, SLP airfoil, TB bypass, LT4 KM, CSI WP-

in spring i will be updating to 4.10's and looking at new heads -

Whats your goal? It looks like your definately taking the time and money to get the good parts for this mod, but I have to say I am not in agreement with the camshaft selection. Lets hear you goals for the car. Also I think you should talk to Bret Bauer (SStrokerAce) He can usually make more power than off the shelf cams with the exact characteristics you want. Honestly I dont think you'll be far off what your going to be paying with this route.

well basically- car wont be on road in about year or 2 - streetablility is not really too big a worry for me.

i realize a cam of that size should be run with bigger heads and definately gears to make up for the low end loss. However i am getting the cam for next to nothing and think it would work out great for me over the next year as i can scratch together money for gears, and eventually new heads... Figure if im going to be throwing the cam in however better safe than sorry and get a decent valvetrain in there as well.

as is with factory heads and current mods im shooting for roughly 350rwhp, and dont really want to rev the engine much past 6k... and from what i can tell this cam falls pretty flat at that point.

soon as i get some time im going to call a few people and see what they can work out for me...

Looks good. I have that cam and I love it. It is my DD and it is very driveable (w/ a good tune of course). Here's the dyno graph: http://home.earthlink.net/~redcamaroz28/Dyno.jpg
A/F up top was 14:1, and that was only to 5800 because of valve float (I went cheap with CC612 springs ), so I should be around 355-360rwhp when I tune it up better and with better valve springs; and that's with stock heads and mid-lenght headers.
