SVO's are Turbocharged 4-cylinder Mustangs built from 1984-1986. IMO they are thousands of times better than any 5.0 or other Mustang. They aren't "Wicked Fast" but they are very technolically advanced for their age, and will get up and scoot with the best of them.

This page should have some links to help you out.

SVO's ??? I'll take a stab and guess that you're talking about SVO Fuel Injectors, SVO = Special Vehicle Operations, (a, cough, cough a Ford company). Lots of guys on this board, including myself run SVO fuel injectors. That's about the only SVO parts that I know F-Body guys run.

He was probably reffering to injectors...
Many people use Ford Mustang injectors on LT1s. Popular "SVO" injectors are 24 lb/hr, 30s , 36s, 42s, etc.

Yeah ...hahah crap, sorry guys I was talking about injectors. I just got a set of Bosch 30# injectors. Was that a bad choice?

Ford SVO injectors are made by Bosch. Just like Accel ones. My guess is that you got one of those two brands.

Haven't personally heard anything bad about Bosch, but do a search on this board. I'll be willing to bet that someone has an opinion. If it's in use in and F-Body you can be guaranteed that a CZ28 member has tried them, and will be willing to tell you about it. Ain't America wonderful

I've used 24# and currently 30# SVO injectors. Work fine.

I've got 30# SVO's also and they're working fine. Actually, come to think of it, my other 93 T/A has SVO 24# injectors also, no problems there either.

I have the Form Motorsports 30# injectors. I guess that's what people are talking about. They are rated at 30# at the lower 38 psi fuel pressure on a Mustang. So, with the 43 psi pressure on a LT1, they actually come out closer to 32-33# injectors. I paid about $225 for the set at Summit.

Even with the 30# injectors, I am still showing something like 75-80 duty cycle at 6300 rpm, so I'd say they are needed in my case.
