Suspension tunning???

I saw a story in GM hightech this month about a pretty close to stock budget bomber LT1 T/A that ran 12.20's.
The reason for the low e/t's were the right mods, alot of suspension bolt on's, weight reduction & d/r's.

Now im not expecting 12.20's but im spending a little money here & there on my ride.
after seeing the story i thought a suspension bolt on here or there that helps my car get it's power to ground better, might be as good or better then spending the same or more money on a small h/p mod.

One of the things im interested in is a adjustable torque arm, from what ive been able to read it has less flex than the stocker wich leads to more power hitting the ground.
Can anybody tell me how well this part will work on it's own?

The next thing i was looking was panhard rods, i guess they help keep the rear wheels planted better.
I was also looking control arms.
How well will each of thses parts work on their own & wich would be the best one to buy 1st?

BTW befoe i do any of this i'll make sure i have D/R's.
