This just started happening today while driving and especially in third gear; the car surges under 2000 rpms and sometimes will buck. The weird thing is it does it; then goes away; then does it again. The engine shakes like I have a huge cam in it and the idle is constant at 900rpm's. So the idle is perfect but the engine is shaking bad HELP?? Forgot to add that if I am spirited (gun the gas); it does not do it, only with a little load on the accelerator

 

Do you still have the EGR?If so make a block off plate for it a see if that stops it.Or check all the plug wires to see if any are burned or have come loose.

 

I might blame the plug wires-- I will see if any are crossing each other and if not you say EGR? how do you disconnect it all?

 

1 down!!--I went outside and fired it up its night here and saw a wire on the drivers side arcing to the y-pipe!! I moved it out of the way but it still runs a little rough so I disconnected my MAF and she went to die and then kept running but at a high idle weird
