I am just curious is ther any body that makes a supercharger for the LT1 that sounds like a 03/04 cobra? ( a root type blower with the whine)

Kinda. Do a search in the forced induction forum for "roots" someone was making a kit to put the same king of charger off of the cobras on an LT1. He made at least one kit and was working on production for more

Re: supercharging the LT1

I rebuilt the LT1 in my 94 Z-28- Chevy hot cam, Roller rockers and cam followers, .030 over Hyper Eutectic pistons, High capacity oil pump, stripped the pollution parts and Cats, had the ECU reprogrammed to reflect these changes. It runs great, but I have 2 issues:1) I need to repair or replace the differential- pinion bearing and seal are bad and leak, and 2) I would like to try some fuel mods- has rebuilt stock injectors and stock throttle body- any ideas?

You need to start a new thread for your specific problems. You aren’t going to get a lot of people even reading your post after tacking it on to an 18-1/2 year old thread, on a totally different topic.

Open the “LT1 Based Engine Tech” forum listing, click on the blue/green rectangle top left that says “+ New Thread”.
