supercharged 355?

I'm looking at possibly buying a trans am. It has a 355 with 9.5:1 compression and a rebuilt stock bottom end. It has AFR 180cc heads, cc306, vortech supercharger, pcm4less tuning, and full bolt-ons. My question is, is this too much power for a stock bottom end? How much power should a setup like this be making through the M6 tranny? Thanks guys

also the supercharger probably needs to be rebuilt. how much does vortech charge for this, or do they sell rebuild kits to do it yourself?

the 9.5.1 comp makes a big diff. You should be fine.

As for the power??
How much boost, how much work to the heads, who did the heads, etc, etc. Endless questions. Need more info.

How much is a supercharger rebuild usually? I assume that the stock pully is on there so probably 6-8lbs of boost. Not sure though

if its 6-8psi u should be good. I'll have to research a lil on rebuild kits for the S/C. I know the powerdyne my friend has on his Mustang cost 900 to rebuild.

the cam is a bad FI choice but it will do. I dont think your going to pop out a piston. just run 6lbs of boost if your afraid of something unexpected will come up. It will still be fast on 6lbs but wont be at as much of a risk.

if i had to guess, with good tuning and decent boost, over 450whp should be possible. It is a full bolt-on car with H/C/I and a supercharger
