If you're interested in forced induction, you'll get more responces posting in that forum.

Best increase in power for a reasonable price? Then its not supercharger or turbo...its nitrous hands down!

If you are definately going forced induction, I would probably go with a supercharger. You can get a complete Procharger setup for around $3K-$4k, where a strong turbo setup is at least $6K.

HAHA, I like how they explain why remote mounting of turboes is better on that www.ststurbo.com, it shows a glowing turbo next to an engine it looks like and says, "Do you really want this in your engine compartement." Yet they mount the turbo right underneath the gas tank of an LT1 fbody .

I think I would much rather have it in with my engine.

if you read you will see it does not heat up the fuel tank...

I can't imagine having the turbo that far away is very good for throttle response. And since the turbo is that far away from the heads, exhaust gasses have a chance to cool, lessening their ability to spin the turbo faster, not including the additional friction losses from having to travel the exhaust system to the back of the car before hitting the turbo.

I'll take poorly engineered designs for $1000 Alex!
