Has anyone installed a 98 style tank (factory or aftermarket) that requires the 98up filler hose in thier fourth gen? Did the filler have to connect to something at the cap end of the hose? Reason I am asking I am looking into a sumped tank that you need to run the 98up filler neck and want to talk to someone that has been there done that. Thanks, Chad

 

Yes, installed the sumped fab unit from LS1speed.com. There is a tab on the upper portion of the filler that bolts to the body. I just used a sheet metal screw. The fill neck on the tank comes out at a 90*, I would reccomend having that rewelded to a 45* angled up before install.
