Summit Throttle Body?

Has anybody ever used the summit racing throttle body yet? I was wondering if it was just the same as any of the other ones you would get. Its somewhat cheaper and I just figure that it would be hard to screw up making a throttle body. What do you guys think?

I have one... if you purchase one get the polished version. That's the only one I reccomend. It is a quaility built piece, but you will ahve to work the air foil area a bit to get it nice.

There has been some feedback posted on it in the past, it would probably be worthy of a search to dig up the old posts.

The only ones that are known not to need work are AS&M, TPIS, and some other company I can't remember.

The Holley, BBK, and Summit all need some sort of touch up work. The summit unit I had looked like crap, but after cleaning it up and making the proper adjustments it looked just as good as my holley. The holley I had would get stuck all the time. I finally gave up on it. There's really not a bolt on out the box one you can get for under 450 id say. Summit is a wise choice though. It's a well constructed unit... it just needs some wrench time but it still is nice quality.
