summit sent bad lifters, bent 2 of my pushrods

Im on my second bent pushrod now, first time around it went through the stock rocker arms, bought some comp magnums, it held up through the bad lifter, but my hardened pushrod really took the abuse. After calling the machine shop that did my heads, they said I had bad lifters (real professional people there) I have good springs and valves. Turns out my lifter (hydraulic) isnt just taking out the slack, it keeps pumping up and bending my rods. I called Summit, and asked for a replacement of my lifter, rod and rocker (messed up the roller on the valve for the rocker)... well I had to buy a whole new set of everything, but I can put the defective parts in the new parts and ship it back and get my money back. I tried to get them to pay for my intake gasket, but they knocked off 5 dollars and got me saturday delivery. Hopefully other lifters wont do this. I have the Crane OEM hydraulic lifters. I recall a previous board member - LT1FlaGuy - I believe, he kept bending his rods and messing up his rockers, maybe he has bad lifters. I wonder what kind he has. Anyways, if anybody has these crane oem lifters and have the same problem, please let me know, I will pay the extra money for the comp lifters. I do not know if this is a common issue, but its something others can keep in mind.

EDIT- It is only one bad lifter, on cylinder #2 intake. First time it took my stock rocker, second time it messed my rocker up a little.
