Sorry... I used CompCams Pro Mag's (1.6, 7/16") with my 847.

Summit doesn't pick crappy products for their lineups, I used their electric water pump (turns out it was a CSR for $80 cheaper ) and a few other fittings and such without problems.

No experience with their rockers though. Many marginal rockers can work great if set up properly, while other top notch rockers can fail with poor geometry. Valve trains are finicky that way.

Just to back that up. The K&N Air Intake and the Summit Air Intake are the exact same thing (the Summit one even says K&N on it), but the Summit one is about $30 cheaper.

They appear to be NSA style and 7/16th stud, which is good for the cam you have. Maybe try calling them and see if they will tell you who their supplier is. My experience with the Summit brand has been pretty good on most things.

Summit 10-bolt diff. cover/girdle with pre-load studs was actually made by T/A. It too was a bit cheaper.

Summit products are proven to be good components with a nice savings. I would not hesitate to use their products. Always done right by me.

I called them and asked them who made there rockers and the rep said they dont let them know who manufactures there stuff but he said they are made in the usa and they are done by a known company. He said they get there stuff made when compaines are slow and they give them good price breaks and put summit name on them.

Do these work OK on the LT1? The application part says only good for SBCs up to 86 (which means pre-roller, I think)

I had their stamped roller tips on an old iroc. they were identical to a crane set. I had a chance to look at some scorpions up close last weekend and they felt very heavy and very poorly assembled.

if it says up to 86 you will need guide plates, push rods and in some cases they might be too wide to clear the valve cover bolts.
