Summit rebuild kit

I did a search and found limited information-
I ordered the Summit bottom end rebuild kit with hyper. pistons, rings, necessary bearings and gaskets and hi volume oil pump to go with a 224/230 cam kit from Combination motorsports for an engine rebuild. I went with the hyper pistons because I was told they seal better than forged pistons, and I plan to stay NA.
What are people's experience with the Summit rebuild kit?

I used the forged setup, and so far no issues. But I only have about 400 miles with the quick rebuild.

Did you use the piston rings that came with the set? They are the Sealed Power premium rings, but they look cheep to me...

Anyone else use this package?

Yes I used the ones that came with the set. They looked fine to me. A good suprise to me was that the forged slugs had that "black coating"(anti-scuff??) forgot the proper term, on them. All in all the kit was good for the price, and everything fit and worked together great. For the price I would say it was a good deal.
