theirs probably better options out their for a stock bottom end car. but with these and a stroker motor, you could have basicly any compression you want.

i just got off the phone with trick flow they dont have any flow number yet, and the heads wont be avaiable for another couple months.

They wont be ready for a couple of months? I'm not sure who is in charge of their marketing but they probably shouldn't have gone to Summit to announce they are for sale yet.

I'm very eager to check these out. Trick Flow makes some great stuff for the Ford crowd...

From what I've heard at PRI & SEMA, these are the same as TF's KD 23deg heads, with a couple of machining & water jacket changes. The numbers are on the TF site. Just look at the regular 23deg specs.

for some reason I can't get a link to work

well, if we use those figure, they are barely keeping up with Lloyds heads even with the CNC option (Lloyd smokes em at high lift though)...here's hoping theres lots of potential left in these heads somewhere.

Summit owns trickflow. In a way it's kind of good marketing though, beside the people you **** off. They heads aren't even out yet and there is a huge interest in them...

I find it hard to believe that a company would go through all the hassle of designing a head for an application without flow data...

well edlebrock use to have an lt1 intake in summit or jegs... they advertised 20 hp gain... well once they designed it, they wouldnt live up to the 20 hp gain so they never put them into production.

Thats interesting, the intake flows less than Lloyd can get on a stock LT1 casting. However, the exhaust side flows very well. I wonder if there is enough material to go larger on the intake?

note these are not the lt1 heads, their just a simular 23 degree trick flow head

my ****ty *** port job is about the same on the intake, but a little lower on the exhaust

i bet a little polish work would bring up the the intake

well im not personally impressed now that I see the flow numbers that can be achieved with a much smaller runner size. Just curious as to how much more is in the heads but for a start not to impressive.

The heads are listed in the new January/February catalog.

Blkchevyz, did Trickflow give you those #'s or did they say the new LT1 head will flow equal to these #'s?

Those are the flow numbers for the 23* heads for non-LT1 cars. However, the ones for the LT1 are also 23* heads with the same cc combustion chambers... the numbers should be close to identical. (assumption).

is that fully ported? I doubt it, they seem like awesome numbers, look at the .200 & .300 lift numbers, those are really high, I bet a full port job would get those numbers way up, if you do then its a much better head IMHO then LT1 if those numbers go up which they will.
