Summit electric water pump?

Have any of you used the summit brand electric water pump? If so how was fitment and did it work out fine? Or if you would sugest another brand that would be good too. Please tell about fitment and reliability though. Price is a factor also.

A guy I put the motor together for is running one and it is a little taller than the CSR that used to be on the car, which required a little trimming of the fan shroud, but other than that it is great.

I run the summit pump and I didn't trim the fan shroud, It fit just fine. The only thing with mine was they sent the wrong size freeze plug. Also I run the painless harnes with mine.

Summit is not a parts manufacturer, well they do own Trickflow but that is about it. The Summit pretty much has to be a CSR or Meziere and the changes/differences guys have noticed are likely just production date changes you would find in the actual manufacturer's pump as well.
