hey everybody, I think my cat is going bad because sometimes I get that rotten egg smell. My questions is I was wondering before I go to the exhaust shop should I install new o2 sensors just incase that they tell me that the cat is bad and they are going to change it? Or should I wait and have the exhaust shop change the cat than after that go home and install the new o2s? Any suggestions and recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I hear alot of good things about carsound cats, cheap and highflowing. and install the o2's urself as not to be charged 4 the labor.

 

That cat is perhaps the best one available to us, it eats everything thrown at it. My recommedation is to buy a used one and have it mounted on your system for emissions.

I have a Random Technologies 3" stainless cat. I love it. It's very free flowing, and works too. I made 375 RWHP through it with a 224/230 cam.
