If your really shot for cash get most of your **** used and restore it to new condition. Make your own CAI, bypass the TB, cut out your exhaust, buy a 4.7 ohm resistor and try to get a cheap TB airfoil. This should all add up to around $50. Use the rest and save for headers.

Well with that amount of cash, seems like a CAI is your best bet to feel any power increase. I'd go for that man. I don't know about the ebay CAIs you might just want to look at the Morroso or the K&N.

DO NOT buy a CAI from Ebay unless it is a known brand(K&N, SLP, AS&M etc.). Trust me on this. The cheapo intakes they use get extremely hot(burn your hand kind of hot) and it does not go down farther than stock, unlike the known brands, so it is not a COLD air intake in any respect.

Buy a K&N or moroso cone filter than buy a tube ( at lowes, home depot, sears, etc) that will put the filter out of the heat. I ran mine to the bottom right of the front bumper, cut out holes, than installed flaps for a forced air induction system. It also stys really cold. You do not have to go as far as making a forced air induction system but it helps. Note: when the road is wet install a cap over the the flaps!
