Successful LT install!
Well my buddy Darrell, FastWhiteTA, and I finally got my TPiS LT's installed after working on them the past 2 days. Yesterday all we did was remove the ugly, restrictive stock manifolds and y-pipe.
We finally got the two headers in today and they both dropped right in from the top...just had to jak the engine up a bit...
These things are unbelievable! They look so good and they really cleaned up the engine bay. We didn't even block off the EGR or do anything with the AIR crap. No lights came on, even after sitting for awhile.
Straight headers rock! I have to get a y fabbed tomorrow so I don't **** too many people off...

Yeah believe it or not it took aalmost as long to get the old manifolds off as it did to get the long tube headers installed. A few cuss words later, a pretty smooth install overall. TPiS were much easier than Hooker or Jet hot long tubes to install. I recommened them if cost is not an issue. Could have had it done in a day if we started in the morning and not at 8pm last night
Anyone else in the area needing header installs let me know.
