Ok here is my question is it better to have a higher or lower temperature thermostat? Observation 1 people on this forum put 160 deg thermostats in and say cooler is better. Obeservation 2 my dad and I were talking and he said that 160 was too low because it did not keep the temperature of the oild up high enough to evaporate the little bit of water that gets in there, and also that it kept more heat in the engine. What is your opinion on this please help me understand this better.
