Somewhat ashamed at asking this, but the last thing I want to do is break them and cause more damage (and $). I'm replacing the wiper inserts for the first time and am curious as to how I wrestle the little buggers off. They seem to have some kind of tab or latch on one end but it's steel and doesn't seem to give with moderate effort. The car's a '93 Trans Am and I'm only replacing the blade/insert itself, not the whole assembly.

push tab in, you dont pull up, push down. you should be able to get it from there.
