is he warped or what? I dunno which part we need to epoxy :O

Unless you took the opti apart, there should be no need to do so. The opti is one whole unit that should come off in one piece and go back on in the same matter.. Very straight forward.

even if you took the opti apart there is nothing to epoxy back together.
I used a vented opti cap and rotor when I replaced mine and I did have to put a cover over the vent hole but did not need any type of epoxy/sealant on any part of the opti itself.

dude, your friend is crazy. using epoxy is the craziest thing ive ever heard. everyone knows youve got to weld it back together.
