Stumpy's Impala with a little 354 motor goes 11.45 @119 NA

Yep, One of Lloyds B-Body customers went 11.45 @ 119mph in his setup at the Atco Impala Drag Day.

"However, the biggest differences was the new 26x10 slicks. The smaller diameter tire helped the engine get into the power band at the end of the track. I honestly believe these Lloyd Elliot heads and Bret Bauer cam are making more power than any of the 35x's and most 383 strokers. The MPH is proof of that! Also, the build on this engine was detail oriented thanks in large part to John. It simply runs strong and stays together. A good build is just as important as good parts!" - Glen Koenig

Congrats to him! Just thought I would let you F-Body guys know whats going on over in B-Body land.

It's nice to finally see some good results out of your stuff, most of the recent posts have been disapointing. Maybe people will finally realize just because you throw a good h/c combo on a car that it won't run strong without the supporting mods. 119mph in a heavy *** car is moving.

No dyno numbers.... but who cares what they are if it runs this on a B-Body. We also don't give out the cam specs on the packages

Nope just the LE2 Head (2.00"/1.56" valves) and Cam for a 350-355

Well it's nice to see someone pay attention to detials, work on the car and have it running correctly. Glen picked up what he needed from us, it worked flawlessly and he handled everything else. He's played with the car a while now but it's been strongly in the 11's and he's just tweaked it here and there to make it better.

I think those are fantastic numbers giving the weight of the car, size of the motor and no power adder. Heck I would would settle for .5 second slower in my Trans Am. This shows that you have to pay attention to the details.
