Stumbling/stalling issue; HELP!?!?!?!
Stumbling/stalling issue; HELP!?!?!?!
Long story short, my car devloped a bad stumble last fall, like the ignition fell out for a revolution and then came back, good enough to jerk the entire car and drivetrain pretty hard.
Thought it was ignition related, Thus, installed a Delteq Setup last night, along with new plugs and wires.
Car fired up, and ran like a complete animal, better than it has in years... until it warmed up and went into closed-loop; which just happened to be on the test drive 2 miles from home at 10pm at nite; where it started to buck and stumble. At the first light I got to the car refused to idle, and instantly stalled. The only way to get it to start againg was to turn it all off, then put the accelerator to the floor and crank (Similar to how you start a flooded carb'd car), and then it would run for maybe 30 seconds and then begin to buck again.
I'm thinking this is a Open Loop Vs Closed Loop thing. On open loop it seems to run like a raped ape, the instant it goes into closed loop it stumbles and dies horribly.
Thoughts? Idea? I'm thinking bad O2 sensors...
Oh, and there is no SES light either, but I haven't scanned the car to determine what is going on data wise.
