Stumbling Problem

My car has had the "stumble" problem at lower RPM's for quite a while now, and I have responded to many related posts. I had replaced most everything electrical and fuel wise except for the injectors. At any rate I changed over to heated O2 's this weekend and so far the car is running much better - the stumble is gone!! I was going into closed loop before but noticed that it would occasionally drop out of closed loop at idle. Put the heated O2's in and now A/F mixture looks normal. I know that this could be that I just had a bad O2 sensor but wanted to let the 93 LT guys know that it might be a worthwhile mod.

Yeah that makes sense!!

I had a low rpm stumble BEFORE I did the stroker and I did heated O2s and nothing else electronics wise and car runs 100% better.

where can you get theses heated O 2 sensors? and what are the cost for them? I have a 94 z28 m6. I read another thread about disconneecting the o 2 sensors. Wouldn't this make a ses light or other light come on?

I got everything from Jason Cromer. About $35.00 a piece for the O2 sensors and another $14.00 each for the connectors that they plug into. Then about another $10.00 or so for additional 18 guage wire and associated connectors.

I'm not totally sure but I believe 93 was the only year that came with non-heated sensors so you may only need extensions to reach the bungs on your headers.

Thanks for any replies

Jason Cromer works at Sam Taylor Buick/Chevrolet in Ft. Walton Bch. FL. His number is (877) 726-8295. Make sure you ask for him as it seems as he is the one that gives the "Internet Price".
