What were the specific codes you got for the MAF sensor and the O2 sensor? Do not start replacing parts based on codes, until you have given us the exact codes. Not all codes set because of faulty sensors. Sometimes the code is caused by something else, or maybe the MAF sensor is causing the O2 sensor code.

In OBD-I there is nothing that a "9000 dollar Snap-On" can tell you that a cheap scanner can't tell you. The codes are either there, or they aren't. They can't "hide" from a cheap scanner.

im not saying that codes are hiding from cheaper scanners im just saying that anytime ive been to an autoparts store to get scanned they always end up giving me alist a mile long of things that it could be, i was surprised to see it bring up 2 specific parts for 2 codes. im not sure what the codes were but i replaced both and the car runs better. im pretty sure i messed up the mass airflow sensor driving it from storage to home without the filter there was leaf particles up against the mesh part so im sure some got through, the o2 sensor looked like i removed it from the titantic there was so much corrosion ,drove it around alot today check engine light hasnt returned again thanks for all the ideas im not a mechanic so any help i can get is greatly appreciated. .
