Exclamation Studder in Engine/Torque Converter

I have a 1994 Z28 Camaro that I just rebuilt the motor in it. I put forged pistons, rods, racing bearings/ rings, balanced crankshaft, Comp 07-502-8 Cam with 218/224 duration with .537"/.542" lift, 1.6:1 roller rockers, new timing chain, shorty headers, hooker cat-back, etc. I had my computer tuned my Ion of MadZ28.com and it runs hard! There is something wrong in the motor or torque converter I think. Whenever I pull of from a stop or put a hard load on it in overdrive or sometimes other gears it shakes or studders and the power doesn't get to the wheels. My oil pressure is fine and the motor is smooth at idle and running until this happens. Please help if you have any ideas. Thanks! Chris.

Sounds like an ignition miss.

Re: Studder in Engine/Torque Converter

I took the car to a good transmission shop around town and he said the tranny was in awesome shape. I know the Optispark can be a pain and I found that out when i had to replace the old one just to crank my new motor for the first time. I thought about taking the Optispark off and returning it for a new one since I have a 1-year warranty.
