stud girdle

Has anyone used a stud girdle on LT-1 heads. If so how and what kind or would shaft rockers be better?

You might not even need one. Going with 7/16 studs and a very stiff rocker arm like a Hi Tech stainless Comp setup is going to net you enough for a street car. All depends upon your spring pressures and cam that you are running.

A Comp 4009 or 4004 are a good setup if you are looking for one. Shaft mounts and the associated price are really not worth it.

If you need any help on this shoot me a e-mail. I can hook you up with one if needed.

Quite a few people have run them around here on the board. Usually only if you cant afford a set of shaftmount rockers though, as they would be a better choice in most cases.

But this question would be best suited for LT1 Tech, moving.
Thanks
