Angry stuck while installing fipk

the very last under-nose bolt is stuck! (fipk install thus postponed till next wkend)

it's the the corner bolt in front of the driver's front wheel that holds the splashguard to the wheel-well panel. the bolt spins with the threaded 'clip' instead of out of the thread, and twists the bumper plastic ?! how can i get this out? suggestions?

(the bumper was replaced before and i suspect this particular bolt was crossthreaded in?)

plz help, thanks. Brian

Do you have a Dremel? I'd either try to cut off the head or drill it out.

I didn't take that panel off to install my CAI. Just put the filter on first and intall the whole thing from the top.

What does that mean? I just put the plastic block-off plate on, intalled both filters, and then pushed it throught the whole. Then I snapped the block-off plate thing down. That was it. Don't know what support thing you're talking about. My CAI had an extension that slipped right into the factory support bracket on the radiator support piece. I guess you should have bought the SLP CAI instead.

Yep, best one you can get. Looks wise anyway, they probably all flow the same.

... cutting off the head of the bolt from underneath would leave the shaft/stub of the bolt still lodged in the two pieces of plastic and the clip threads, right?

i could try to just muscle a drill bit through it but i think that could rip the plastic & i wouldn't be able to reattach the plastic panels...
