hey guys,

It seems that my driver's side power window died today. My question is this. I can't get a motor for it for another couple of days, and it is going to rain where i live soon. Does anyone know how to get the window up without the motor. Please anyone, it is stuck half way up. Thanks in advance.

If the motor is totally stuck, the the only way to move the window is to remove the motor (this will disengage the gear from the regulator), pulling the window up and putting the motor back on to hold the window (or hold it up with something else propped under the window). Be careful that the window does not fall when you remove the motor. It's probably going to be harder to do with the window partially down.

 

when my power motor died it wouldnt work for a couple days and then would randomly work agian for a short time. Keep trying it every once in a while and you may get lucky ... for now....
