Hey on the driver side strut, do I have to remove the brake reservoir or can I lower the housing while loosening the bolt? Thanks.

 

Its a shock technically. Remove the bolts holding the master cylinder, and move it out of the way temporarily - dont need to remove it or bleed it. You'll need a T50 torx bit if you haven't figured that part out yet.
