Stroker kit Question
Stroker kit Question
Is there a special stroker kit for an LT-1 or will any stroker kit for a 87+ work? If there is a special kit what does it cost and where do you get it? Anybody with a 383 or bigger I would appeciate your input on where you got it ,how much and if it was worth it.
You can get a stroker kit from many places on the net. Make sure it has a one piece rear main seal.
It is probably better to go through a place that is familiar with LT1 motors so you don't run into any suprises. NuTeK, IRS, etc all sell kits that I know of.
Was it worth it? Well I think I would have prefered to have gone with a good 355 rebuild and put a big boost blower on it, but still it is fun to drive.
