Stroker clearancing

Ok, i'm in the process of building a 383 and am planing on heading up tho the machine shop tommorrow to clearance my block. My question is should i cleanance the block fully or grind some off the bolt heads? I'm running the lunati crank and eagle h beams with L19 bolts. Thanks and if you have any pics of your stroker clearancing, post them up.

Re: Stroker clearancing

All your clearance work should go into the block(oil pan rails and cylinder bottoms). Rod grinding is usually reserved for camshaft clearance issues.

You have to clearance that thing like a 396 along the pan rail with H beams and L19 bolts!

Always clearance the block not the head of the rod bolt.
