Striped head bolt.

Striped head bolt. Well i got all but one bolt out and it is very stripped. Whats the best way to get it out???

You might have to take a smaller socket and drive it on with a hammer.
Then you can wrestle with it outside of the car to get the bolt out of the socket.

I have seen people weld a new nut onto a stripped bolt.

Sears Craftsman has special bolt extractor sockets... give those a try.

I agree with Rob WS6...I have had to use those Craftsman bolt extractors and they have come in very handy. If it just the bolt and you have enough room to get a good bite on it you could try a stud puller.
