strange starting problem

For some reason my car decided not to start yesterday, I went to start it and when I turned the key nothing happened It wouldnt even crank. It took half an hour for it to finally start. Heres what I know: the batterys fully charged, no security light, it couldnt be the VATS because it has a brand new dealer installed ignition lock and keys. It has always started fine before so I cant figure out whats going on here.

Did your lights/radio come on? Did you check your fuses?

All of them, under the hood and in the dash. How long did the car sit between the last time it started and the time it didn't?

I drove it to work the day it didnt want to start, so it was sitting for like 7 hours. Seems strange that would happen cause ive never had starting problems before.
