Strange Electrical Problem after 13 month storage!
Well, after being put away at the end of October 2002, tonight I finally got to start it up and bring it out of storage. It started right up after a battery swap (brand new battery) and runs just fine. However, after about 5 minutes of idling, I noticed the right turnsignal light (on the dash) came on and stayed on. I was like WTF. Well, after another 2 to 3 mins of idling, I walked around the car to see if any lights needed replacing. Well, first thing I noticed, my brights were on even though I didn't have them turned on. They were very dim though, then when I flicked on my brights, they got brighter. Then I turned them off again and still on but dim. Anyone else ever have this problem? I dunno where I would even begin to fix this....
Btw, my front pass. marker lights and rear license plate light were completly out so I have to replace the bulbs tomorrow. Do you think this was the culprit? I doubt it but you never know with these cars.
Thanks.

I could understand a bad ground causing lights to not work when they should, but I don't see how it could make a light come on when it should not. Sounds like to me like you may have a short between the wire bringing voltage to the light and another wire that has 12 volts on it. Just a stupid question, Do you have any mice where you're from? They gave me fits once. Just something to think about.
Try pulling the fuse to the lights that stay on and if they stay on, then that is a dead give away that you have a short. If they go out, that doesn't mean that you don't have a short however.
Good luck, shorted wires are a b@#$% to find.
