No heat please help

Ok I have a 95 z and the heater does not work at all. I have gone completely through the motor and have all the bolt ons, hot cam w/ rockers shaved heads etc.. The heater lines go into the heater core but there isnt even warm air slightly blowing out the bottom vents like it usually should. I have had some buddies tell me that there is a switch in line with the heater hoses, but I havnt been able to find it. Can anyone please help me. This is my girlfriends car and I am getting griped at every second cause its getting cold now. Thanks

Billy

There is no switch in the heater hoses. You probably have a clogged heater core. Flush it with a garden hose.

Just unhook the lines and flush it or would I need to remove the core? Thanks

Just unhook it and flush it. If it doesn't work you might need another core. It's like60 bucks or so and takes 20 minutes max to change out. Even someone with no mechanical experice can do it with a pair pliers and 5mm socket.
